Watch the Freedom songs Jesus Culture

With ‘Freedom’, Jesus Culture Declares God’s Purpose
to Mankind

All of us need
freedom. Jesus Culture, a Christian music group led by Kim Walker-Smith
declares in their song titled “Freedom.” The song reveals one of the
greatest needs of man which unfortunately had remain hidden to many people
across the ages.

The Bible tells us
that man got into bondage when he sinned in the Garden of Eden by eating the
forbidden fruit. That disobedience led to receiving the nature of sin which all
mankind inherited from Adam. God was angry with man, cursed the earth for his
sake, and drove him from the garden. In addition to this, the fall of man also
brought all manner of unpleasant things which God did not originally plan for
him and the earth. These include sickness, death, hunger, pain, and all manners
of disasters that man has been experiencing for ages past.

 Man has been
grappling with all of these and has tried hard to find solutions to them, but
none did work out. Fortunately for us God Himself has provided the solution.
From the time that Adam and Eve sinned in the garden, He promised,
“The seed of the woman will bruise the
head of the serpent.” Genesis 3:15.
That seed is Jesus Christ who was
ordained by God to save humanity from the bondage of sin. According to the
Bible, Jesus was born in Palestine and lived for 33 years. After fulfilling his
ministry as ordained by God, he was arrested, tortured, and killed, but he was
resurrected from death on the third day. He did all to fulfill the scriptures
and to give man freedom. Jesus Culture songs center around this truth, to give
a message of hope to a suffering world.

The Message From Kim Walker-Smith

Jesus Culture - Freedom (feat. Kim Walker-Smith) (Live)

 The leader of the
Jesus Culture group tells the story behind “Freedom”. It is the story
of compassion and love which God has towards mankind, and which is manifested
through Jesus Christ. He said, “Jesus is not offended at the mess we make,
he truly wants to meet us the way we are.” Kim says that is the truth so
many people don’t know that is depriving them of the freedom that God provides
for them. They want to make themselves good so that God can accept them. On the
contrary, God wants us to come to Him the way we are. He is the one that will
do the cleansing. He knows we cannot clean ourselves from the stain of sin.
That is the revelation that brings true freedom. Popular songs can make us
relax, but only songs that convey the love of Christ and his death on the cross
can set us free.

 Messages From “Freedom” Songs

Jesus said, “Come to me, all ye that labor and are
heavily laden, and I will give you rest
.” Matthew 11:28. That is an
invitation to everyone who wants to be free. You need to come to Jesus. You
need to surrender your life to him. In doing that you can exchange your bondage
for the liberty in Christ. That will work for all kinds of bondages you might
want to be free from; fear, addiction, past mistakes, etc. They are all
fallouts of the sinful nature we inherited, and “
the blood of Jesus cleanses from all sins.” 1 John 1:7. That
blood is capable of setting you free.

 There is grace
available for anyone who will come to Jesus. He said he will in no wise cast
out anyone who comes to him. He said “
your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red
like crimson, they shall become like wool.” Isaiah 1:18.
You can bring all
your burdens to Jesus. He is always willing and ready to love. He knows all
that you are going through and he is ready to help. When people, even your
close pals have rejected you, when all your efforts have failed, Jesus can step
in and help you out. You only need to allow him. For God has given him a name
above every other name, and at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow. Paul
and Silas in the Bible sang and praise the name in the prison, there was an
earthquake that shook the building to its foundation. All doors and windows
were forced open because a greater power visited the prison. Jesus Culture song
says your chains will fall, and prison open, you will obtain your freedom if
you run to Jesus.
